“Who am I? Where did I come from? Where am I going? What do I really want in life? What makes me happy?” – do you ask yourself these important existential questions every once in a while?

Compared to the universe that has existed for billions of years, a human life is merely a tiny and momentary flash, practically unnoticeable in a monstrously vast galaxy. We live an average of several dozen years, some longer – others shorter. But life passes unnoticed: yesterday a little girl – today a hunched old woman.

Is human life merely an involuntary experiencing of various sensations and emotions (good and bad), or can we find in these short moments on Earth some deeper meaning, a purpose, a sense of mission, and a greater opportunity to fulfill our dreams and achieve happiness and peace?

The probability of life arising on its own in the cosmos is extremely slim. In addition, the repeating code (the so-called Golden Ratio – phi – Fibonacci Sequence) – that is, a sequence of numbers in which each subsequent one is the sum of the two preceding ones – appears throughout all of creation and nature with astonishing regularity. If God the Creator gave us life from Himself, then the purpose and meaning of our existence are an obvious reason.

In Neale Donald Walsch’s valuable book “Conversations with God,” we can read that the main idea of creation is based on the concept of moving from Knowledge to Experience. And so: in the beginning, there was only “All That Is” (God/The Source). God knew of His magnificence, love, and omnipotence, but He could not feel or experience it, because there was nothing outside of Him to which He could relate.

The main reason for God creating US: the desire for self-knowledge In N. D. Walsch’s book, GOD explains it as follows: The Need for Relativism: To know “light,” there must be “darkness.” In pure light (in oneness with God), light is invisible.

The Big Bang as an Act of Division: God divided Himself into an infinite number of parts (us, souls, stars, planets), so that each of these parts could look at the other and say: “This is Me, and that is You.”

Experience instead of Theory: God created us to be able to experience Himself through us. We are “God in action.” Our task is to remember who we truly are and to re-create ourselves anew in every moment.

The purpose of human existence According to the philosophy presented in this book, we are not here to “earn” Heaven or pass lessons/tests. We are here to:

  • Create: As co-creators of the universe.
  • Experience: To forge the pure concept of love into concrete actions.
  • Remember: To discover our divine nature in the physical world.

And if that is indeed the case, then every experience, every moment and second on Earth, every tear, sadness, and fear. Stress, anxiety, and worry. Pleasure, happiness, joy, and hope – birth and death. All of this has its incredibly deep meaning and purpose in itself.

Where to start and how to use this knowledge in practice?

Start precisely by asking yourself existential questions daily, i.e.: “Who am I? Where did I come from? Where am I going? What do I really want in life? What makes me happy?” – thanks to the whole truth about your whole self, you can move toward happiness, goodness, peace, love, and harmony. You can realize your potential. Fulfill dreams. Do and multiply good. Live life to the fullest!

In practice, as a part of God, you are a co-responsible creator of your own life. Only You take full responsibility for your life. You HAVE TO do NOTHING. You can. Every day, going to work / working, you make a more or less conscious decision about it. Who you surround yourself with and the people you let in – these are your choices and their consequences. How you spend your life and free time, where you work, where you live – you have an influence on everything and the possibility of CHANGE at any moment of your life!

Knowing what you truly want and desire for yourself and your loved ones; what is important to you – you can take daily actions in pursuit of goals, dreams, and self-fulfillment.

The road to happiness itself can already make you happy. Enjoy yourself, your loved ones, and everything around you in every moment. Appreciate what you have HERE AND NOW, do good, love, and forgive. Enjoy the moment and always choose what suits you best (and as your intuition tells you) and in the first place, always think of yourself first.

Life is a precious gift and an opportunity to experience each other, as well as the creation of God in You and in Others. Every moment is a good one to ask yourself questions for further actions: “Who am I? Where did I come from? Where am I going? What do I really want in life? What makes me happy?”
